Where to get cabinets sprayed
To provide you with superior durability and a flawless finish, we formulated a polyurethane paint for kitchen cabinets that combines the best of all worlds : the adhesion of a soft alkyd, the flexibility of a urethane and the hardness of a polyurethane.
This makes our coating flexible enough to avoid cracking, hard enough to avoid chipping, smooth enough to easily wash and tough enough to block stains. Thinking of painting your kitchen cabinets in one modern hue? Or, how about a two-tone kitchen cabinet revamp? Our turn-key kitchen cabinet spray painting and refinishing service includes all the steps required to completely transform your kitchen.
We remove your kitchen cabinets, fix minor dents, and mask and protect all necessary surfaces. Once your kitchen cabinets are dry, we take care of reinstalling them and of course, tidying up at the end of the day! The customer service was top-notch, we saved a fortune, and most importantly, our kitchen looks absolutely beautiful! Thank you Spray-Net!
As needed, we use one of our two proprietary kitchen primers depending on the surface, as well as our eco-friendly chemical and mechanical preparation process to ensure adhesion on each surface! We have a wide variety of colors for you to choose from, each specifically formulated for exterior use and formulated with optimal fade resistance in mind. We use a combination of the most popular standard siding and door and window colors to provide maximum durability against premature fading and discoloration, as well as to apply the finishing touch of matching-colored caulking.
Finally, we work with an experienced designer every year to help us come up with the latest color trends and ultra-stylish exterior color palettes… an added perk that our customers really appreciate! Unlike the traditional brush and roller method, spray-applied painting is measured according to paint thickness rather than the number of coats. You can be sure that our expert painting crews are equipped with the knowledge, products, and experience to produce a permanent factory finish… every time.
Meredith painted her bathroom black, then back to white again; her tips apply to the kitchen as well. For cabinets, forget matte and eggshell finishes, and opt for semigloss, gloss, or satin instead—hardy finishes that are easy to clean. Drop the roller: to get the best finish on painted cabinets, use a two- to two-and-a-half-inch fine bristle brush instead, which can get in the small corners and details.
Or, if you must use a roller, find a mini one that will fit handily on smaller surfaces, then go over with a brush to eliminate roller marks and get into any tiny spaces. Opting for a fresh coat of white paint? These will need a careful coat of paint—or, opt for a different shade on the interiors, for intrigue. If painting by hand sounds tiresome, it is possible to spray-paint your cabinets. Follow all of the same prep steps with care, then take your cabinet fronts and drawers outside or meticulously cover everything else in the room before spraying.
Source a professional-quality sprayer and remember this mantra: multiple thin coats, not one thick one. By the way keep up the good work. This article was very informative. This is the first time I have ever thought about painting my cabinets. I thought that was high, but after reading this article, it seems well within the price range.
Plus, I did not realize all of the steps it took to prepare my cabinets for painting. This painter also has an excellent reputation for painting cabinets, as well as houses. Thank you for this great article. We had several quotes and many came in very low because they were not filling in the grain of the wood.
Obviously more costly, but worth it in the long run. Great point! Depending on the wood, filling can make a drastic difference! And indeed, it can significantly impact the price. My spouse and I are interested in getting some new cabinets and painting them, as we want to give our home a DIY type of vibe. Great article. But with the Seattle market so high priced, is it still a substantially less expensive option vs just replacing the cabinets?
Thank you, Catherine! These prices are outrageous! I do general contracting. This includes taking cabinets down removing all hardware, cleaning, light sanding then painting spray paint system and reinstallation. Based on your IP address, it looks like you are in Tennessee. Thank you for your comment! Wow, sounds too good to be true. As general contractors in Bellingham, Washington, we would never never be able to price that low. Cabinets and kitchens take time. Each piece is a seperate item with multiple visits to each piece along the prep and painting process.
From the initial set up, removal process, to the last hinge and door re-installed is a very delicate, time consuming, detailed project. Nice work guys. Jill Hill, Calgary, Alberta. Peter and his team fixed a number of deficiencies i. Kim Jones, Toronto, Ontario.
