Why do people hate tony kornheiser

What's So Annoying: Bruschi was an inspirational story of survival and perseverance when he returned to the Pats after a congenital heart defect caused him a stroke in Today, however, Bruschi is the preeminent homer in broadcasting, and his inexplicable tirade about Chad Ochocinco's tweeting in September once again proved his utter lack of objectivity. Upside if applicable : What Bruschi lacks in insightful commentary, he makes up for with cartoonish behavior and enough yelling to make Trey Wingo and Mark Schlereth look restrained.

What's So Annoying: I'm not complaining, but women have a slightly tougher road in sports than men, and it's made tougher when women are so publicly bad at their jobs. Maybe Walsh is still working out the the kinks, but she's pretty much unwatchable at the moment. Almost two decades of this garbage.

Years of Annoying Experience: From the looks of them, combined they probably have about years of professional experience. What's So Annoying: Plaschke and Ryan are your classic crotchety old men. These dudes are cranky, combative, unimaginably dull and irrationally overreactive to almost everything. They hate everything. Touchdown celebrations, trash talk, people with personalities and absolutely anything that could be considered fun. Upside if applicable : None.

Around the Horn is always a little grating, but when these two are involved, it's nearly unwatchable. Although I never thought I'd come to appreciate the ridiculousness of Woody Paige, thanks to these cantankerous old men, I have.

Years of Annoying Experience: Retired Steelers great Terry Bradshaw has been working on and off in broadcasting for almost 30 years. What's So Annoying: Nobody would ever accuse Bradshaw of being a genius, mainly because he goes out of his way to act like an idiot. Upside if applicable : Bradshaw might be annoying, but he's rarely boring.

Years of Annoying Experience: Chris Berman has managed to find steady work in sports broadcasting for over 30 years. He was hired by ESPN in , and is one of the network's longest tenured employees. What's So Annoying: It's hard to believe that Berman's antics were funny or even tolerable in any era.

His catchphrases are boring, dated and delivered with the subtlety of a bat to the face. And his on-air bits are even worse. Thompson fills in for Michelle Beadle on SportsNation , and she seemed in over her head initially. She's since gained some confidence by trying to imitate Beadle, but instead of coming across as tough and sarcastic, yet likable. She comes across as strangely confrontational and unlikable enough to make Colin Cowherd look better by comparison. Upside if applicable : She is very pretty, and her combative demeanor actually works well on FirstTake.

What's So Annoying: In addition to being about as entertaining as a bag of dirt, Aikman is shamelessly biased when calling Cowboys games. It's shameless enough that Boomer Esiason, who isn't exactly tough on his Bengals, publicly called Aikman out in Esiason called Aikman's bias "stunning. Years of Annoying Experience: The Jim Rome Show became syndicated in , but Rome had been working in broadcasting for almost a decade prior.

Frankly, I just don't understand him or his show, I just know that it's really irritating. Rome is some kind of post-modern parody of himself, and his whole persona seems weird and rehearsed. Jim Rome is annoying, but he's got some balls.

Before that he worked for Newsday and the Cincinnati Enquirer. What's So Annoying: King is one of the most high profile NFL journalists in the country, thanks in large part to his role as management stooge to Roger Goodell. King's Monday Morning Quarterback in Sports Illustrated is, at best, boring nonsense lacking depth and insight and, at worst, a pandering and painfully lame piece of garbage that rambles on many pages longer than it should thanks to his need to divulge the mundane details of his life.

I heard on yesterdays show actually last night, I was busy during the day that Larry Michael has some sort of problem with Tony Kornheiser.

Now I know Tony has a radio show in the D. So I thought it would be interesting to find out why Larry has beef with Tony. So I thought maybe someone here would know. Thank you. He is most likely jealous, as kornheiser is respected and, well, larry michael is larry michaels. Kornheiser is a funny well respected guy who really doesn't know all that much. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy, but he gets by on his wits and not on his knowledge. Larry Michaels is most likely jealous because he is smarter and much less successful in broadcasting.

Kornheiser is funny and entertaining, So is Wilbon. Thats why PTI is my favorite show. But I also think Larry Michael does a great job.

So maybe thats why I appericate his work. Isn't that right Washington post. Not like I know the guy but he seems like a pretty cool, down to earth kind of dude. Boy LM really seems to hate when people call him Larry Michaels, he reminds people quite often that it's Michael no S. Maybe I'm kidding myself but I don't think I would let it bother me the way he seems to. With all that said I think LM seems like a pretty cool dude, he should lighten up a little, I think he has a great gig. Well, I guess a debate since no one knows why they have beef with each other.

One guy works for a football team doing elementary broadcasting, the other is on Monday Night Football now. Larry Michael would never be so dumb as to start any public beef with a figure who could squash him without even knowing he exists. I appreciate the opinion and response Old Town Fan. But there was no need to bash my thread. If this thread stinks, Then why post on it?

Plus it seems like Larry would have more Redskin news than Tony since he works for the Redskins. So, Is there that big of a difference between Tony and Larry?

PTI is by far the best show on television. It's the only thing that gets me to watch ESPN anymore. Wilbon and TK are the sports version of Abbot and Costello. But, back to the topic Michael has been the top radio executive for WJFK or their parent company? And maybe Michael has no problem with Kornheiser. The original poster didn't give much detail as to what was exactly said by Michael.

During a meeting with reporters, James said he would not "buck" his coach's decision to rest him. I shouldn't have to explain me sitting out a game or not playing games," he said. It's not like it's my first year. I've got 14 years. I've paid my dues and more than a lot of guys in this league. But I'll ride with my coach. Michael Wilbon, who covers the NBA more closely than Kornheiser, was not as jazzed up as his co-host. But the Chosen One's rationalizing left a sour taste in Wilbon's mouth, too.

Why exactly do the Cavs need to "rest" a year old Irving, asked Wilbon. Love is 28; James turns 32 later this month.

The trio didn't even make the trip to Memphis. Hate that KingJames , KyrieIrving and others are sitting out a road game.

I don't want to hear it," Wilbon said.
